Department of Industrial Organisation

The Department of Industrial Organisation (DOI) aims to train well-rounded professionals capable of successfully tackling the technological, organisational and social challenges of today’s industrial and business environment. Our work is based on a solid technical education, complemented by principles of professional ethics, responsible leadership and a commitment to sustainability.

At the DOI, we teach key subjects in the fields of operations management, work organisation, logistics, innovation and entrepreneurship, industrial economics, sustainability, project management and business strategy. We promote an integrated approach to engineering, economics and the social sciences, placing particular emphasis on ethical leadership, responsible decision-making and the development of interpersonal and communication skills.
