The Faculty of Law (Comillas ICADE) and Squire Patton Boggs have signed a collaboration agreement for the creation of the Squire Patton Boggs/ICADE Observatory on modernisation and transformation of Public Administrations, with special reference to the administration of Justice and its adaptation to the new challenges of international trade. In this way, Comillas joins this international law firm - which has more than 2,600 employees in 45 countries - with the aim of establishing a centre of reference in the legal world to promote the study, research and debate of issues related to the modernisation and transformation of Public Administrations.
Mariano Ventosa, Vice-Rector for Faculty, Research and Artificial Intelligence at Comillas, points out that the objective is "to examine the current state of Public Administrations, ensuring a new, more strategic model of management and governance, driven by the internationalisation of markets and the evolution of supply chains".
Teresa Zueco, managing partner of the firm, adds that "special attention will be paid to the new challenges of international trade, ensuring a more agile and efficient legal environment".
