Students from Comillas ICAI participated in the second edition of the Datathon organised jointly with Comillas ICAI and the Endesa Chair for Applications of Artificial Intelligence to Data-Based Maintenance. A meeting that brought together students to face real challenges in the industry through the use of data and artificial intelligence.

On this occasion, students from the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and the Dual Degree in Engineering in Telecommunication Technologies and Business Analytics worked on an exciting challenge: to predict the production of the Besòs combined cycle power plant (Barcelona), a key facility in the current energy scenario.
This initiative allowed the students to apply their knowledge in a real environment, facing problems in the energy sector and exploring the potential of artificial intelligence to find innovative solutions. The Datathon undoubtedly encouraged hands-on learning, boosting the creativity and talent of future professionals in the technology and energy fields.
