Summer Course: European Union and International Law

In this course you will learn the fundamentals of the European integration process, its institutional system and its legal system. You will then study and analyse in depth certain specific aspects of the functioning of the EU, such as its external action and the protection of human rights.

Course aimed at students of Law, Political Science and International Relations.

Dates: From June 17th to July 12th, 2024.

Why study this course?

You will be able to make a critical and constructive analysis of the main objectives of the European Union.
You will address the study of the international legal order as a complete system and, in particular, its "sources".
You will see how to establish European citizenship; guarantee freedom, security and justice; promote economic and social progress; and affirm Europe's role in the world.
You will learn about the fundamental institutions of the international legal system.

Course description

Duration: 4 weeks (90 hours).
Credits: 9 ECTS.
Language: Spanish
Place: C/Alberto Aguilera, 23, Madrid.
Requirements: students who are studying a degree, preferably between the second and third year. If the course is taught in English, a minimum B2 certificate in this language will be required.
