Altmetrics
It is used to designate new metrics that are offered as alternatives to the impact factor, used for scientific journals, and person citation indexes.
Altmetrics is a set of methods based on the social web and digital media to measure, trace and analyse research results, references that are outside the usual channels of scientific publication.
