From 6 to 8 June 2024, Professor Bert Daelemans participated in the study days organised by the Institute of Liturgical Sciences of the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. The academic conference was entitled "Des pierres qui disent la foi... Des lieux pour proposer la foi aujourd'hui? Regards européens sur l'actualité de la question" (Stones that speak of faith? Places to offer faith today? European views on current issues).
Professor Daelemans' lecture was "Plaidoyer d'un retour à la dimension eschatologique du lieu de culte" (Request for areturn to theeschatological dimensionofthe place ofworship), which dealt with the eschatological dimension of liturgy and liturgical space.
Professor Bert Daelemans is a PhD in Theology, Department of Dogmatic and Fundamental Theology, and a recognised expert on contemporary religious architecture and liturgical space.
