Submission of the Application for Admission
In order to apply for admission to the field of studies in which you wish to enroll, please access the degree which interests you as a first option on www.comillas.edu/en/bachelor-degrees.
Once you have accessed the website for the degree, you may fill in the application form through the Request Admission button.
You should then sign up to request a username and password which will be valid to check the status of your application until the end of the process.
When sending your application, you may enter up to six programs from the entire offer of the University, which must be expressed numerically in order of preference.
You must fill in the form and provide all of the necessary documentation in the section "Submit all Documentation to the Academic and Degree Management Service" (“Servicio de Gestión Académica y Títulos”) enabled for this purpose within the Admissions Portal. Please see the detailed instructions on the documentation to provide.
In the event that you wish to apply for a a scholarship or financial aid from the University, you must begin this process after filling in the application form for admission, and process this request at the same time as the application form.
Once the documentation has been received by the Academic and Degree Management Service (“Servicio de Gestión Académica y Títulos”), if everything is determined to be correct and in order, you will receive an email (at the address indicated on the application form), stating that your application has been accepted and validated*. On the contrary, whenever appropriate, you will be informed of any incomplete information or deficiencies detected in the documentation submitted, so that you may make the required corrections or adjustments as soon as possible.
*The validation of the application form does not exempt the candidate from presenting the original documentation when it is required at a later date.
Admission Exams
Before the Admission Exams
Please make sure that you have sent us all of the required documentation in order to validate your application. Only then will you be called to take the admission exams.
Important: All applications that have not been accepted and validated prior to the end of the corresponding application period will be excluded from the process of admission. For this reason, we emphasize the importance of presenting the application and all of the documentation well in advance, so as not to exceed the deadline for submission.
All applicants will be notified of their acceptance to take admission exams, as well as the time and place of administration, by means of a Letter for the Call to Take Exams which, with sufficient advance notice before admission exams take place, will be available on the Admissions Portal of our Web page.
In the case of degrees in which an interview or language proficiency exams must be carried out, candidates may be notified individually by email or telephone to take the exams, once the documentation is presented.
Taking the Admission Exams
The purpose of the admission exams is to verify the knowledge, degree of preparation for studies and aptitudes of candidates.
Through a selection process based on the assessment of admission exams, together with the grades awarded on the academic transcript of previous studies, the University aims to provide students with equal opportunities to access our programs, regardless of their origin and previous academic educational training.

Results and registration
The Admissions Committee will notify you in writing, via SMS text message and by email, of its decision within a maximum period of either 15 working days after the exams or in the last week of May for the following programs:
- Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Comillas ICADE)
- School of Engineering (Comillas ICAI)
- Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (Comillas CIHS)
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Bachelor's Degree in Criminology
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management
In the case of Nursing and Physical Therapy, it is necessary to consult the School Director's Office (“Secretaría”) of the “San Juan de Dios” School of Nursing and Physiotherapy, on the date of publication of the admission results.
*Note: The acceptance of the application does not exempt candidates from proving compliance with the legal requirements for access to the University. Fulfilling these requirements is an essential condition to begin your studies at the University.
Fulfilling the requirements for Admission to the Degree
After having been admitted, you must complete the registration process (on the web page), by following the instructions that will appear on the Admission Portal in the Information Notice concerning the finalization of registration for admission to Undergraduate and Bachelor's Degrees. Depending on the form of access to the University, in accordance with current legislation, in the aforementioned Information Notice you will also find the instructions, deadlines and the procedure to follow in each case for sending the required documentation.
Classes begin the first Monday in September. The Pre-University Campus, for those students who would like to ensure a smooth initiation to university life, takes place at the end of August.
