Comillas hosts the 9th meeting of the Madrid Network of University SL Offices

Comillas Pontifical University hosted the 9th meeting of the Madrid Network of University SL Offices. The meeting was held at Comillas Conecta Lab and the occasion was used to present the Comillas team to the other members of the network.

The meeting was highly productive and was attended by, in addition to Comillas, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Universidad de Alcalá, the Universidad Carlos III, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the UNED, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, CEU and Villanueva.

During the meeting, several relevant topics on Service Learning (SL) were discussed. The meeting started with a follow-up of the working groups and the collaboration with the Madri+d Foundation of the Madrid City Council, and then highlighted the progress related to the next SL congresses and conferences, which will take place on the following dates:

• From 11 to 13 June 2024, a meeting of innovation projects will be held at the Universidad de Alcalá.
• From 25 to 27 September 2024, the XII National and VI International Congress of University Service Learning will be held in Palma (Illes Balears). More information available here.
• From 23 to 27 September 2024, the VII Week of Service-Learning in Higher Education (ECSLHE) will take place.

The inter-university team of the Madrid Network of University SL Offices seeks to promote this methodology among the university community, generating a significant social impact while students acquire knowledge.
