Last April 2023, the IV Bioethics Training Conference on "unwanted loneliness" was held at Comillas University, with recognised experts on the subject with experience and initiatives to tackle it. These conferences are held periodically in conjunction with the Ballesol Group.

As a result of these conferences, the publication Bioethics and unwanted loneliness, edited by the Professor of the Faculty of Theology and Director of the Chair of Bioethics, Rafael Amo, PhD, is now being published.

Professor Rafael Amo Usanos, from the Department of Moral Theology and Praxis of Christian Life, holds a PhD in Theology and Philosophy and is a recognised expert in Bioethics. He is also the Director, since 2019, of the Chair of Bioethics at Comillas Pontifical University.
