Resumen
The main objective of the project is the study and development of four solar technologies with four corresponding advanced thermodynamic cycles. The project seeks the global advance in both concentrating solar power (CSP) plants and hybrid plants, where the hybridization is included to introduce synergies that lead to higher efficiencies and lower levelized costs of electricity (LCOE). In addition, new procedures for energy management are included in order to maximize the power generation from the thermal power available from the different sources, which are at different temperatures. Finally, the present project seeks to contribute to the development of specific components for each plant configuration where there are no industrial solutions at current time.
