    Why the Executive Programme in Data Centre Management?

    The data center sector is experiencing rapid global growth, driven by the expansion of cloud services, artificial intelligence, and the increasing need to store, process, and transmit data. In this context, Spain is consolidating its position as a strategic digital connectivity hub, with Madrid, Barcelona, and other regions emerging as leading reference points.

    This boom brings critical challenges: energy sustainability, operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and—above all—a rising demand for specialized talent in the design, construction, and management of data centers.

    To address this reality, Comillas ONEXED promotes a program with an interdisciplinary approach and a strong practical orientation, integrating engineering, technology, business management, and sustainability.     Who is this programme for?

    This program is aimed at professionals with experience in the industrial or technology sectors, as well as those working in fields related to the management of digital infrastructure. It is especially designed for candidates holding an undergraduate degree in technical disciplines or business/management, with at least 2–3 years of professional experience, who are interested in leading projects in the design, construction, and sustainable operation of data centers.

    Exceptionally, applicants without a university degree may be admitted if they can demonstrate relevant professional experience.

    Objectives of the programme

    The program’s main objective is to equip participants with the tools they need to address the current challenges of the data center sector—from design and construction to operations and maintenance. It also covers sustainability, financial management, and leadership in multidisciplinary environments. This comprehensive approach is designed to prepare professionals to provide strategic leadership in a sector that is constantly evolving.
