Inmigrantes y vivienda en la Comunidad Valenciana [Immigrants and housing in the regional Community of Valencia]

Summary
This publication is the outcome of the study conducted by the IEM on the problems related to immigrant access to housing, and the quality and location thereof in the Regional Community of Valencia. It not only aims to take stock of the type of housing immigrants in the Regional Community of Valencia live in, but also to discover how the type of housing they live in influences their movement in public work spaces, bureaucracy, entertainment, thereby "rubber-stamping" all of their actions. The structuring strength that the conditions of poor housing gain in contexts where immigration proves problematic is explored.
