Admissions must be submitted within the time frame stated, in a standard format and accompanied by all of the documents which certify the fulfilment of the entry requirements.

When the candidate has either a four of five year degree certificate, the Master requires that, as well as a sufficient academic record, they have at least 3 years professional experiences in medium and high management positions. Candidates who have a Diploma should also have at least 5 years professional experience in medium and high management positions. • Training, taking into account the candidate's academic record (20%).
  • Results of the interview (30%) In which the candidate's knowledge, experience, what they can bring to the Master and their motivation towards it will be evaluated.

The teaching methodology is based on an eminently practical, dynamic and interactive (teacher-student) learning model that is designed to adapt the educational objectives, content and learning strategies to the students' profile. To do so, the following techniques are employed:

  • The case method, presentations of projects and other practical models that simulate real-life management scenarios and allow them to compare views on various decision-making processes.
  • Problem-solving exercises.
  • Analysis, debate and discussions on the best business internship and models.
  • Experience-based presentations from lecturers and students. Guided debates to compare the lecturer's and the other classmates' experiences.
  • Interdisciplinary activities.

Teamwork in the Executive MBA is employed as a tool that extrapolates companies' day-to-day operations to the classroom, entailing the development of several interpersonal, planning and communication skills in this field.

Assessment Methods

The close contact between the students and the academic staff allows for their continuous monitoring as well as providing an opportunity to follow their development and progress objectively.

Each of the subjects is evaluated taking into account the grades for the written tests, group work, individual work, active participation and attendance.

Students are required to complete a Master's Project as part of the program, which consists in making a group presentation and defending a business or consultancy project.

Each student will receive a final overall grade for the Executive MBA that is based on the weighting of the specific grades awarded for each subject and the Final Master's Project.

Students whose overall attendance fails to reach 80% or who fail the Final Master's Project will be excluded from the program and may not be awarded the Master's Degree.

Graduate profile

The fundamental aim of the Official Master's Degree in Executive Business Administration (Executive MBA) is to offer general, comprehensive training to an advanced, postgraduate level, which allows the student to acquire a global vision with knowledge in each and every one of the working areas of an organisation.

As this is a professional Master, it is geared towards the student having a command over the knowledge and tools which are necessary for a managerial and executive professional career. Likewise, it encourages students to develop and ensemble of attitudes, values and skills which are reflected in high quality work regardless of the field in which they professionally exercise.

This programme is aimed at students with experience in management positions who wish to strengthen their knowledge about business management and develop the most relevant executive skills needed in an effective decision making process. The Executive MBA student is already a professional with experience, and therefore the programme prepares them to take on responsibilities and make decisions on a higher level either within their organisations, or even in other companies.

These professionals will be capable of acting in their professional environments with criterion, security, innovation and rigour. It is also hoped that they will be able to take over team leadership at any given moment.

The Executive MBA is a professionalised programme with a generalist nature. Therefore, its students develop their professional activities in business organisations which belong to different sectors (banks, large consumption companies, service companies, large retail chains, consultancies, etc.)
