What is the Course of Specialist in Methodology and Assessment of English Teaching and Learning in the Classroom?

The Specialist Degree in Methodology and Assessment of English Teaching and Learning in the Classroom is given in conjunction with ECM (Catholic Schools of Madrid) as a training program for people who are in Spain working on the BEDA Program as Conversation Assistants with the aim of better accommodating their needs and interests.

The Specialist Degree in Methodology and Evaluation of Teaching and Learning English in the Classroom was created as a specialization of the course "Methodology and Evaluation of Teaching and Learning English in the Classroom". In this way, conversation assistants in English carry out a Specialist Course that shows them how to carry out the planning of English classes, classroom management, different methods of teaching English and English grammar, and preparation for Cambridge Exams.

We attach importance to the transmission of concepts in teaching English.

The objective is to know the functions of conversation assistants, how they can collaborate in an innovative center, and to gain knowledge of the common concepts in the teaching of the English language and the ways to manage what happens in the classroom.

Block 4: The Evaluation of English in the Secondary and Baccalaureate Years through KET and PET. Levels A2 and B1 3.0 ECTS

Block 6: Training in Spanish Language for the Preparation of the B1 Level Examination of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas 1.0 ECTS

Total credits - Internships: 7.5 ECTS

 

The value awarded to an ECTS credit for Internships will be based on 20 hours of presence in an educational institution, plus 10 hours of self-directed and supervised work by the student, in addition to tutorial sessions.
