“Orientated to promote an integral and comprehensive development of the person”

What is the Master’s Degree in Ignatian Pedagogy?

Ignatian Pedagogy has a long tradition that is fomented by the learning experiences and growth of Ignatius of Loyola, and the ability that he and the first Jesuits had to harmonize this experience with all of the cultural and social elements of the environment that fit into their Anthropological vision.

This Program is based on experiential learning, focused on each student, and aimed at promoting the integral and comprehensive development of the person, leading to real-world transforming actions.

It encourages the exchange and networking of participants in order to strengthen educational communities

Most of the work is carried out through an on-line learning platform. During each semester, there will be several full-time sessions with attendance required (morning and afternoon) in which training will be shared with other students enrolled in the Master’s Degree. The face-to-face lectures, with attendance required, will take place in Madrid, Loyola and Manresa. In addition, participants will have a person designated to accompany them at their educational institutions, who will provide feedback on the application of the course to real contexts and who will help with assessment.
