The first session of the Interdisciplinary Workshop of the Chair on Energy and Poverty, which will take place on November 12, will be an opportunity for dialogue to broaden the debate on the national strategy against poverty linked to energy.

LuzIn the context of the open debate on future policies against energy poverty in Spain, local and regional government, as well as social organizations, have been establishing various actions or specific agreements with energy trading companies. The main objective of these agreements is to coordinate actions that guarantee the energy supply to the most vulnerable households. The Chair of Energy and Poverty proposes a first session of the Interdisciplinary Workshop to analyse in more detail what these actions are, to what extent they are helpful and what improvements to them could be proposed.
