Lgo EyP para cabecera transparenteOn October 1^th, in the light of recent statements by Minister of Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera about the changes in the “bono social” and the future national strategy against energy poverty, a meeting of the Advisory Council of the Chair on Energy and Poverty took place. Participants commented on the importance of the “bono social” as a short-term palliative action and the proposal of the Government to develop a national strategy to fight against energy poverty. The contribution of the chair to this government plan was raised, commenting on the need for individualized social work ("one to one") with vulnerable people. On this issue, the question of how to finance this work was put on the table. Some of the members of the Council raised the possibility of creating a unique database, which allows the identification of vulnerable people. The open reflection also includes as a proposal the structuring of a direct collaboration between companies and social entities to complete the action of the government.
