Several professors of Theology have participated in the evaluation of external quality of various Faculties in Spain
Throughout 2017 the “Agenzia della Santa Sede per la Valutazione e la Promozione della Qualità delle Università e Facoltà Ecclesiastiche” (AVEPRO) has been carrying out the external evaluation of Faculties of Theology of Spain. Pedro Fernández Castelao, Carmen Marquez, Nurya Martínez-Gayol and Francisco Ramírez, Professors of the Faculty of Theology at Comillas ICAI-ICADE, have participated on some of the commissions appointed to carry out this evaluation. They have visited, along with other colleagues, the faculties of Theology of the North of Spain, Navarre, Valencia and Catalonia.
AVEPRO, founded by Pope Benedict XVI in September 2007, is the agency of the Holy See for the evaluation and promotion of the quality of its Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties. Its main functions are to promote and develop a culture of quality within these academic institutions and to ensure the validity of their quality criteria on an international scale.
