cearThese ESCR are human rights related to the basic social and economic conditions necessary to live freely with dignity. They are found within the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) ratified by the UN Assembly in 1966.

They have been in effect in Spain since 1977. However, according to CEAR, there is a large barrier in guaranteeing these rights to asylum seekers and refugees in our country.

The actions recommended by this organization are related to the fight against discrimination; to take measures so that integration becomes effective through access to employment and health; and make legal regulations related to this group, such as the regulation of the Asylum Law or the law that regulates the condition of stateless persons
