This specialist course in early care is one of the first of its kind, involving prestigious professionals from this field. It is designed specifically as a postgraduate program for teachers working in early childhood education since, in many cases, they find themselves working with children from 0 to 6 years old (the age range traditionally covered in early care) who present problems relating to development or other problems that would benefit from specific intervention in the classroom.

This course aims to rectify the lack of training available in this area, the importance of which is recognized by a wide range of education, medical and psychology professionals.

Who is it intended for?

Professionals in the educational, social and health care sectors: psychologists, teachers, educators, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and other professionals interested in the field of speech and language therapy.

This is a postgraduate training program. It is therefore necessary to fulfill one of the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree, Licentiate Degree or Diploma.
  • Have access to university study and documentary proof of at least three years' work experience in a related field.
  • Be currently enrolled on the final year of a degree program (in this case, the specialist course certificate will only be awarded after the student finishes this program and providing no more than two years have elapsed since completing these studies).
