Why study with us

The Faculty of Law of ICADE and the Faculty of ESADE have significant experience in training legal professionals of the highest level, with the excellence and ethical values that guide degree and postgraduate studies at both universities. This fact alone is reason enough to opt for the dual program of the Official Master's Degree for Admission to the Bar and Master's Degree in Tax Advice.

The Official Master's Degree for Admission to the Bar and Master's Degree in Tax Advice also stand out for their vision of the exercise of the law with the framework of the globalization of the economy, their practical training and excellence and the experience of the teaching staff made up of experts in their respective fields. This program also features a module for an external regulated and tutored internship which allows students to access major law firms, institutions and companies based on their profile and interests. Moreover, our Master's offers specific preparation for the official bar entry examination.

Who is it intended for?

This program is the most advanced and rigorous in the Spanish academic market to train future lawyers, combining in a single program the necessary contents that are required by the rules governing admission to the bar so that holders of a Bachelor's Degree in Law may engage in the legal profession as lawyers, along with the Master's Degree in Tax Advice which caters to the ongoing transformation of the legal profession in the field of tax advice that is profoundly affected by economic globalization.

Therefore, this program is especially suited not only to Bachelor's Degree graduates, but also to holders of a Licentiate Degree in Law who wish to receive more comprehensive and advanced training in the practice of law in the context of a globalized economy and who wish to become future leaders in the sector.

The admission process will consist in assessing the academic background of applicants by looking at their academic transcript and, where appropriate, requesting them to take an English test and attend an interview with the program's Joint Directors and/or Coordinator.

Our goal is to enable our students to acquire the professional skills in accordance with Law 34/2006 and its Royal Decree 775/2011, and pass the national entrance test to be convened annually by the Ministries of Justice and Education, which is the final requirement, once the Master's Degree has been awarded, to be admitted to the bar. Furthermore, we also seek to train professionals with high levels of excellence in the practice of law that have a clear understanding of the characteristics and challenges of the profession in the 21st century in addition to a comprehensive and in-depth level of specialization in the field of tax advice, who are aware of the profound changes that the profession is undergoing in a context of economic globalization.

The teaching methodology on the program is based on active learning through the case method, professional simulations, the Socratic Method and other teaching tools to introduce the students to the practice of law and to enable them to experience it through individual study, teamwork and in the classroom.
