Academic Prospects

Graduate profile

The graduate profile of the Bachelor's Degree in Law is determined by meeting all the generic and specific skills that are set out in the Degree Review Document. As such, Law graduates receive comprehensive legal training that allows them to qualify as jurists and begin their careers in the field of law.

The graduate profile of the Bachelor's Degree in International Relations is the result of acquiring all the generic and specific skills that are set out in the Degree Review Document. International Relations graduates will be professionals able to understand the reality of international relations in an increasingly interdependent world, as well as to analyse, plan strategies and adopt decisions in different professional fields related to international relations, from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The E-5 curriculum includes internships in renowned public and private institutions linked with a professional focus of the two Bachelor's Degrees that comprise the program. Those students who enrol in E-5 as of academic year 2016/2017 will be able to undertake an extended period of internship during a full semester, if they wish to do so (18 ECTS, 1st semester of the 5th academic year).

ICADE students are trained to confront the challenges related to globalization and be able to live in an international setting. Our programs, therefore, offer students the chance to spend one or two semesters studying abroad in renowned universities in over 30 countries with which the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences have strategic partnerships and exchange agreements.

Internationalization is especially advisable for E-5 students due to the strong international component of the studies included in this program. E-5 students may carry out an academic exchange for each of the Bachelor's Degrees contained within the program. Those students who enrol in E-5 as of academic year 2016/2017 will be able to undertake their exchange program during the 1st semester of the 4th academic year and/or the 1st semester of the 5th academic year.
