The Chair for Science, Technology and Religion hosted the 8th Fliedner Conference


On the occasion of the five-hundredth anniversary of the Reformation, the 8th Fliedner Conference, organized by the Chair for Science, Technology and Religion, the Center for Science and Faith, and the Federico Fliedner Foundation, was centered around the relationship between the religious Reformation and the resurgence of Modern Science. Professor John Hedley Brooke, the main speaker, presented the existing myths concerning the Protestant Reformation and the scientific explosion of the 16th and 17th Centuries.
